INTRODUCING – Taz’s NASCAR In-Season Tournament

Aside

NASCAR started its first-ever In-Season Challenge in 2025. It’s coming back in 2026 with a small twist.

NASCAR is not having three ‘seeding races’ to determine which drivers will. earn, what seed for the knockout stages. I, Taz Taylor, say for 2026 bring back the “seeding races!”

Here is how the tournament will work

Michigan, Pocono, and San Diego are the seeding races.

Drivers will race to earn the best position possible to get themselves the best seed in the knockout rounds.

The top 32 drivers with the BEST AVERAGE FINISH of the three seeding races will qualify for the knockout rounds.

After the San Diego race, the knockout bracket will be released for YOU, THE FANS, to fill out (released on Monday, June 22nd)

All you have to do is pick which driver will do better than the other in the matchup, similar to March Madness basketball.

Whether it is one of us at F4R, 110, or RCL, or if it is one of you fans that score the most points in the tournament, YOU WILL BE THE CHAMPION!

The Points Breakdown

  • Round of 32 correct picks = 10 points
  • Super 16 correct picks = 20 points
  • Elite 8 correct picks = 40 points
  • Fast 4 correct picks = 80 points
  • Championship Final correct picks = 160 points
  • * Tiebreaker: What position will the In-Season Tournament champion finish?
